Beyond Investment
Initiatives
S708's thesis is that deep tech companies need more than capital. They need supply chains, government customers, and ecosystem infrastructure. Initiatives is where that thesis becomes concrete: the supply chain activation and ecosystem building efforts S708 runs alongside its investment activity.
01
Allied Market Access
Trade Missions
S708 organizes trade missions that bring US deep tech companies into direct engagement with government, military, and industry partners in allied markets. The 2026 Unmanned Maritime Trade Mission to Taiwan, organized in collaboration with the United Pacific Innovation Alliance, brings 12 US companies to Taiwan for direct engagement with senior government and military leadership alongside local supply chain partners. One of the most substantive allied market access efforts in the unmanned maritime space.
02
Supply Chain Activation
NDAA Compliant Supply Chain
S708 facilitates strategic supply chain contracts between leading Asian hardware manufacturers and venture-backed US deep tech startups, connecting production-grade manufacturing capacity with companies building at the frontier. All partnerships are structured to meet NDAA compliance requirements. This is the kind of structured partnership that capital alone cannot create.
03
Ecosystem Building
USV/UUV Hub
The largest open-source, collaboratively generated database in the unmanned maritime sector, tracking over 400 organizations and serving thousands of users globally. Hosts monthly sessions to advance the maritime autonomy industry through shared knowledge and cross-organization learning. A public good for the industry, and a direct expression of S708's belief that the whole ecosystem has to be healthy for any individual company in it to succeed.
